Natalie Levin-Saada

MA, LMHC

You've been holding everything together for everyone else, but inside you're thinking, "I can't do this anymore."

If you've been carrying the weight of motherhood, relationships, work, and everyone else's expectations for so long that you barely recognize yourself anymore, you're not alone. Maybe your days feel like an endless cycle of getting the kids ready, racing through work, trying to keep up with an impossible to do list, coming home to more responsibilities, and wondering why you're snapping at the people you love most. You tell yourself you should be fine because you have so much to be grateful for. You wonder if your problems are even "bad enough" for therapy. What I often see instead is someone who has spent so much time taking care of everyone else that she's stopped making room for herself. The anxiety, resentment, guilt, and overwhelm are often signals that something needs to change, not proof that you've failed.

Therapy with me feels like a conversation that helps you move forward. Some sessions are structured and focused on clear goals. Others are simply a place to unload everything you've been carrying without feeling judged or rushed. I pay close attention to the details because those details reveal the patterns that have been running your life behind the scenes. Together, we connect those pieces so you understand not just what is happening, but why it keeps happening and what to do differently. Clients often tell me they leave feeling heard while also walking away with practical ways to make life feel easier instead of being told what to do.

My approach is shaped by both professional training and lived experience. I grew up in a family that placed a high value on achievement. I understand what it feels like to carry pressure, strive for excellence, and believe that you should always be able to handle more. As both a therapist and a mother, I also know how easy it is to become so focused on caring for everyone else that you lose space for yourself in the process.

Before becoming a therapist, I earned a Master's degree in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University and worked in Human Resources. I later earned a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Baruch College and worked in a group practice supporting clients with a wide range of concerns and life experiences. That experience gave me exposure to many different struggles and ways they can show up, which helps me recognize patterns, connect the dots, and understand what may be contributing to what you're experiencing instead of looking at each challenge in isolation.

Today, I offer virtual therapy for adults in New York and New Jersey and maintain a waitlist for new clients. Outside of work you'll usually find me walking through Central Park, at a concert with my husband, or enjoying time with my daughter.

If you've been telling yourself, "I can't do this anymore," but another part of you keeps insisting you should just push through, I invite you to schedule a free 20 minute consultation. Sometimes the first step isn't committing to therapy. It's giving yourself permission to have a conversation.
