Perinatal Therapy

with Natalie Levin-Saada, MA, LMHC

The perinatal period can bring a lot emotionally, mentally, and physically — even when it’s deeply wanted and deeply loved.

You may be adjusting to pregnancy, changes in identity, shifts in your relationships, navigating family dynamics and feeling conflicted with career trajectory.

You don’t have to navigate this season alone.

Therapy can offer a steady space to slow down, process what you’re carrying, and feel more supported through the transition of the perinatal period — so you can move through it with more clairty and.

I help women navigate the emotional, mental, and identity shifts of the perinatal period.

You may be experiencing:

  • Anxiety about your baby, your pregnancy, or the uncertainty of what’s ahead

  • Irritability, emotional reactivity, or feeling less patient than usual

  • Conflicted feelings about your career, identity, or the balance between work and motherhood

  • Unease about the physical and emotional changes happening in your body

  • Difficulty navigating family dynamics, boundaries, or shifting relationships during this stage of life

Women come to me for:

  • Support navigating the emotional transition into motherhood

  • Feeling more grounded and emotionally supported during pregnancy

  • Help slowing down constant mental overwhelm and overthinking

  • Processing fears related to labor, delivery, and becoming a parent

  • Navigating changing relationships and shifting roles during pregnancy

  • Support balancing pregnancy alongside work, ambition, and daily responsibilities

  • A space to stay connected to themselves while preparing for a major life transition

How Perinatal Therapy With Me Works

My approach is thoughtful and grounded in both insight and practical support. I start by creating a space where you can be honest about what this is actually like. We’ll focus on understanding your thought patterns and anxiety cycles, looking at how past experiences may be shaping this transition, exploring the pressure and expectations you may be carrying and building tools to help your system feel more settled.

  • focuses on creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can openly explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. The relationship itself becomes an important part of the healing process, helping you feel more understood, connected to yourself, and able to move through life with greater clarity and self-trust.

  • CBT focuses on understanding the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

It helps you identify patterns like overthinking, worry, or negative self-talk, and learn how to shift them so you feel less stuck and more in control day to day.

  • ACT helps you change your relationship with difficult thoughts and emotions so they feel less consuming and controlling. Instead of automatically treating anxious thoughts as reality, you learn to respond to them with more awareness, flexibility, and steadiness.

After therapy, women often notice:

  • Feeling calmer and less consumed by constant worry or overthinking

  • Greater emotional steadiness throughout pregnancy

  • More ability to slow down and stay present instead of constantly anticipating what could go wrong

  • More clarity around boundaries, relationships, and family dynamics

  • Improved ability to cope with stress, uncertainty, and emotional overwhelm

  • Increased confidence in navigating pregnancy and the transition into motherhood

About Me

Hi, I’m Natalie Levin-Saada. I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.

I’m drawn to the experience of motherhood because it can bring deep love, connection, and joy while also holding so much change in your identity, your relationships, and how you experience yourself day to day. As both a therapist and a mother, I understand how easy it is to feel stretched thin while still trying to hold everything together. I see my role as helping you stay connected to yourself so you can experience more of the meaningful moments along the way.

In therapy, I create a space where you can be honest about what you’re feeling during pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood, with a focus on both insight and practical support that helps you feel more steady in your daily life.
