Perinatal Therapy
With Natalie Saada, LMHC,
and Cushion Mental Health
We’re therapists who are moms ourselves. We get women relief from emotions that are hard to manage, obsessive thoughts, anxiety, and the pressure to be perfect, all while learning to trust themselves again.
Are you overwhelmed by the transition into motherhood?
Do you feel anxious, emotionally reactive, or scared to say some of your thoughts out loud?
Pregnancy and early motherhood can bring excitement, but fear, grief, uncertainty, and pressure creep in. Moms come to us when they feel disconnected from themselves, worried about what comes next, or exhausted from trying to hold everything together.
Some moms keep telling themselves they’ll feel better once they adjust, only to find that the overwhelm continues. Others get guilty for struggling because they think they should be happier than they are.
Moms Come To Us When They’re:
Overthinking constantly
Scared about birth
Struggling with anxiety
Having intrusive thoughts
Emotionally overwhelmed
Feeling disconnected
Managing family tension
Questioning identity
“You don’t have to wait until you’re
at a breaking point”
How Our Perinatal Therapy Works
Therapy with us is collaborative, insightful, skills-focused, and grounded in evidence-based care.
We aren’t about forcing positivity or pretending motherhood is easy. It’s about getting you steadier, more confident, and having a roadmap through major life changes.
We’ll understand what’s driving your anxiety, overwhelm, or emotional spirals while building tools that break your patterns.
Clients often say we remember the small details, and those details help connect patterns that once felt impossible to understand alone.
Modalities We Use
-
Helps challenge catastrophic thinking, self-criticism, and perfectionism around motherhood.
-
Helps you make space for difficult emotions without letting them take over your decisions or relationships.
-
Creates a collaborative space where you feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment.
-
Helps you focus on practical, manageable changes that reduce stress in daily life.
Our perinatal therapy is not about telling you to “just be grateful” or “enjoy every moment.” Motherhood can be meaningful and overwhelming at the same time.
Find Your Footing
Instead of feeling alone inside life transitions, therapy supports you through them.
After Perinatal Therapy With Us, Clients Report:
Feeling more prepared
Reduced anxiety
More emotional stability
Better boundaries
Stronger relationships
More confidence
Clarity about motherhood
Feeling like themselves again
“My goal isn’t to fix you or tell you to focus on the positives. It’s to help you be supported, stable, and yourself again.”
